- What is included in a Building & or in a Pest pre-purchase or pre-sale Inspection?
Typically a professional Building & or Pest inspection includes examination of the sub-floor, roof-cavity, exterior areas of the property, internal areas of the property. Specific examination is done for termite damage, rising damp, magnesite, cracking etc.
- How long does it take to complete an inspection & or inspections?
Generally an inspection takes between 1 to 2 hours to complete a pre purchase building and pest inspection depending on the size of the property.
- How much notice do you need to conduct an inspection?
We offer a 24 hour turnaround on reports, which will identify any notable items and repairs.We have several years experience in both Building and Pest inspections and will provide you with a professional service to help you make an informed decision.
- If we are buying, do we need to arrange the inspection with the Real Estate Agent?
No, once you have given us your instructions, we will arrange access and a time with the agent.
- Do you have Insurance?
Yes we carry full Professional Indemnity & Liability Insurance.
- Are you a member of any Industry Association?
Yes we belong to the Institute of Building Consultants, (IBC).
- How do you issue the report & or reports?
The Report & or Reports will be emailed or faxed to you as requested.
- What do we get for our money?
You will receive your Report & or Reports in an easy to understand format, and if you require you can contact inspector with any questions you have about the report.
- What is a special purpose or Dilapidation report?
It is a report that comments on a specific issue, or issues. Comments on the condition of a property before work is carried out on a adjoining property.
